KABUL: The Ministry of Finance of Afghanistan said in a statement today that after the 21st of Sha’ban (February 10, 2026), no imported medicines from Pakistan will be exempt from customs duties.
The Ministry of Finance has urged all traders importing medicines from Pakistan to settle their remaining transactions and imports in the coming days.
Over two months ago, the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs granted Pakistani medicine importers a three-month period to settle their accounts and completely halt their imports of Pakistani medicines.
Only 19 days remain of this deadline.
