KABUL: The Ministry of Refugees and Repatriations, in a statement said today that over the past month, more than 200 million Afghanis in assistance have been distributed to over 40,000 returning families.
According to a statement from the ministry, the aids were distributed in Kabul, Kapisa, Bamyan, Panjshir, Daikundi, Nangarhar, Laghman, Kunar, Khost, Paktika, Paktia, Logar, Maidan Wardak, Ghazni, Kandahar, Helmand, Zabul, Uruzgan, Herat, Farah, Badghis, Nimroz, Ghor, Balkh, Baghlan, Sar-e-Pul, Samangan, Jawzjan, Faryab, Kunduz, Takhar, and Badakhshan provinces.
The statement stated that assistance to the families was provided by agencies cooperating with the Ministry of Refugees and Repatriationa, with provincial offices playing a crucial role in the distribution.
Additionally, it was reported that recently, more than 2,000 returning families in Balkh province received wheat and cash aid.
