KABUL: Samiullah Ibrahimi, spokesperson for the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs, stated that the Omid Media Network has quickly found a special place in the hearts of the public through its media services.
During the signing of a tri-partite Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with several educational institutions, including Kabul University, Mr. Ibrahimi emphasized that such programs and agreements will take significant and effective steps in training and capacity-building for young professionals.
According to Ibrahimi, the Islamic Emirate has been actively working to prevent unemployment and is currently providing temporary and permanent job opportunities to unemployed journalists.
He further underscored that the Islamic Emirate fully supports the private sector and is striving to create employment opportunities for people through private enterprises.
He referred to the media as crucial in the employment sector, noting that the media can play an effective role in changing the public mindset and enhancing capacity.
At the end, he expressed happiness over the signing of a joint tri-partite agreement between the Omid Media Network and universities today, emphasizing that it will be an important step for the professional development of youth.
