KABUL: Dr. Abdul Latif Nazari, the Deputy Minister of Economy, expressed his pleasure that the educational institutions of the country have recognized that collaborative efforts with the media are effective for societal development.
While signing a tri-partite Memorandum of Understanding among Omid Media Network and several educational institutions, Mr. Nazari emphasized that the media has always fulfilled its mission and played a significant role in the stability of the country and public awareness.
He highlighted that the country’s enemies have launched a propaganda war against the system, but this effort has been successfully thwarted by Afghan media and youth.
He stressed that preventing harmful propaganda is a collective responsibility of all Afghans.
Nazari further stated, “Through such agreements, we can effectively counter negative propaganda and educate the public based on reality.”
He added that universities bear the responsibility of training the new generation, while the media can introduce capable, talented, and professional individuals to society and the world.
The deputy further noted that together, media and universities can play an important and effective role in preserving the country’s cultural and cultural values.
