Afghan embassy delegation in Pakistan visits injured migrants’ family

KABUL: A delegation from the Afghan Embassy in Islamabad, along with a representative from the consulate in Peshawar, visited the family of Afghan migrants who were recently injured in an accident while returning to the country.

The Afghan Embassy in Pakistan said in a statement today that the delegation visited the five injured family members in the hospital and also offered cash assistance to them, as well as visiting the site of the accident.

In addition to providing condolences and care for the injured, the delegation assured them of any further support and assistance they may need.

Arsalan Haqyar, the refugee affairs attaché at the Afghan Embassy in Islamabad, and Qari Arif, the attaché in Peshawar, were part of the visiting team.

The statement noted that three children (two girls and one boy) who had been separated from their families were found and reunited with their families through the coordination of the delegation.

It is worth mentioning that two days ago (Tuesday), an Afghan migrant family returning to Afghanistan was involved in an accident in the “Luwargai” area of Pakistan, resulting in injuries to five members.
