KABUL: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has announced that 14 Afghan citizens have been released from prisons in Azerbaijan.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs in a statement today, said that the release occurred due to the specific directives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the efforts of the Afghan embassy in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan.
The ministry expressed gratitude to the Azerbaijani authorities for their humanitarian action.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs assured that it will continue to follow up on the cases of Afghan prisoners.
