KABUL: Shaikh Shir Ahmad Haqqani, the Minister of Information and Culture, has stated that a society that does not properly nurture children will experience a difficult future.
According to Radio Omid correspondent, he made the remarks today at a scientific seminar titled “Children’s Literature and Its Educational Methods” in Kabul, organized by the Academy of Sciences of Afghanistan attended by senior government officials, writers, and scholars.
The Minister emphasized that, in addition to educating children, more efforts should be made in educational institutions to ensure a bright future for them. He also noted that Islam stresses the importance of child upbringing.
He called the launching of such seminars essential for the education and future of children and called for their continual implementation.
