Mullah Baradar: The Kabul-Bagram road includes multi-model transport features

KABUL: Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar Akhund, the Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs, stated that on the Kabul-Bagram road, designated routes for buses, electric transport, fast vehicles, and sidewalks have been taken into account in the New Kabul project.

According to Radio Omid correspondent, Mullah Baradar Akhund made the remarks today during the opening ceremony for the Kabul-Bagram road construction.

He emphasized that the Kabul-Bagram road is not only important in terms of transportation but also holds special economic importance for the New Kabul city.

He described this road as one of the strategic highways, underscoring its transit value due to the presence of numerous industrial factories along its route.

In part of his speech, he emphasized the efforts to provide convenience for the people, eliminate biases, and unite everyone on a common platform to ensure shared interests are met.

Mullah Baradar called upon all Afghans residing outside the country to return with a correct understanding of the situation instead of blindly imitating, and to take advantage of the good and real opportunities available for investment in their desired sectors.

It is noteworthy that the construction of the Kabul-Bagram road, considered a vital infrastructure project for the New Kabul township, has commenced today in the presence of senior officials from the Islamic Emirate.
