KABUL: Mawlavi Mohammad Yaqoob Mujahid, the Minister of National Defense, during a ceremony held to commemorate the Dalwa 26 stated that the sacrifices made by Afghans in their fight against the Soviet Union have resulted in the establishment of an independent government.
Minister Mujahid emphasized: “Afghans should focus on the future and strive for peace and national unity, instead of seeking revenge, leaving behind a legacy that future generations will not be ashamed of.”
He urged all citizens to fully cooperate with the defense forces, as the protection of national security relies on the complete support of the people.
Also, the minister reassured neighboring and regional countries, that Afghanistan poses no threat to them and harbors no ill will, asserting that no one is allowed to use Afghan territory against others.
Mawlavi Mohammad Yaqoob Mujahid stressed that the Islamic Emirate has succeeded in establishing comprehensive security in the country without foreign assistance and seeks mutually respectful and cooperative relations with all nations.
