KABUL: Cooperation between the Asia International Institute and the Strategic Studies Center of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is set to expand to advance a joint agenda for greater partnership between Afghanistan and Uzbekistan.
Jaulan Khavobov, the head of the Asia International Institute, stated on his X on Sunday, that he had engaged in discussions with Abdul Hai Qanat, head of the Strategic Studies Center of the Afghan Foreign Ministry, regarding collaborations aimed at enriching the practical content of partnerships between Kabul and Tashkent.
The head of the Asia International Institute stated: “ I’m eager to transform long-term strategic goals into practical initiatives that think tanks will work on in the coming years.”
He also noted that the meeting addressed various ways to increase public awareness regarding the dynamics present in Afghanistan, Uzbekistan, and the wider region.
In recent days, a diplomatic representative of the Uzbek government has visited Kabul, engaging in meetings with Afghan officials and businessmen to further strengthen relations across various sectors between Kabul and Tashkent.
