KABUL: Sayed Abbas Raoufi, an official of the Raoufi Global Group Company (RGGC), said the pharmaceutical sector is directly linked to the lives of millions of citizens and requires serious attention.
He stressed that investors should prioritize national interests over personal gains and provide medicines that meet the real needs of the population.
Speaking at the “2026 Pharmaceutical Industry Innovation and Cooperation Summit,” organized by Raoufi Global Group (RGGC), and quoted by a reporter from Omid Radio, he said that alternative medicines would be introduced in place of some antibiotics to ensure long-term benefits for the country.
According to him, 208 types of medicines have been purchased from India, with the first shipment already having arrived in the country.
He added that efforts are underway to provide improved pharmaceutical services to the public.
