Afghanistan sends humanitarian aid to 22,000 families in Gaza

KABUL: Afghanistan’s Foreign Ministry says the country has delivered humanitarian assistance to 22,000 Palestinian families affected by the war in the Gaza Strip.

Hafiz Zia Ahmad Takal, head of public communications of the ministry in a videotape said today that the total value of the aid amounts to $520,000.

The assistance, which includes food supplies, clothing, and other essential items, weighing around 530 tons, was transported via Egypt through the Rafah border crossing using 42 trucks.

Takal said the aid is part of ongoing humanitarian efforts to support Palestinians impacted by the conflict.

Alongside the assistance, Afghan authorities reiterated their call for resolving the Palestinian issue based on historical realities and the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people.
