KABUL: The Public Order Police Forces of the Ministry of Interior Affairs have prevented 418 undocumented vehicles from entering Kabul, sending them back to their provinces of origin.
According to a statement from the General Directorate of Public Order Police, an additional 111 unregistered vehicles were collected inside the city.
Officials said police units stopped the vehicles at key entry points, including the Arghandi Gate and Sang Neveshta Gate.
Abdul Rahim Zahir, head of public order police, said authorities are intensifying efforts to prevent the movement of undocumented vehicles and ensure public safety.
He stressed that no negligence will be tolerated in enforcing the regulations.
Authorities have previously blocked hundreds of such vehicles as part of ongoing efforts to improve security and regulate traffic in the capital.
