Residential land plots distributed to dozens of Afghan returning families in Sar-e-Pul

KABUL: The Ministry of Refugees and Repatriations says the distribution of residential land plots for returning Afghan migrants has begun in Sar-e-Pul province.

According to a statement from the ministry on Sunday, 64 returnees have so far received residential plots in the “Chahil Gaza” township.

Based on the directive of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, each returning family has been allocated 500 square meters of land in the Chahil Gaza township, Sayadabad District, of the province.

Officials said the initiative aims to support returnees and provide them with permanent settlement opportunities, adding that the land distribution process will continue in a transparent manner.

This comes after Hamdullah Fitrat recently reported the distribution of hundreds of residential plots to returning migrant families in several Afghan provinces.
