KABUL: Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar Akhund, the Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs, has inaugurated the construction of a 52-kilometer road project linked to the Northern Corridor in Kandahar.
Speaking during the inauguration ceremony in the Khakrez district of Kandahar, Baradar said the Islamic Emirate has launched major infrastructure projects aimed at strengthening the country’s economic sector, creating job opportunities, and improving transportation facilities for the public.
He added that the implementation of such projects would enhance connectivity between regions and facilitate trade and commercial activities across the country.
