Over 500 returning Afghan families receive residential land plots

KABUL: The Ministry of Refugees and Repatriations has announced the distribution of residential land plots to 530 returning Afghan families in Nangarhar, Faryab and Samangan provinces.

According to a ministry statement, 200 families in Nangarhar, 280 in Faryab and 50 in Samangan received land plots for permanent settlement.

Officials said the initiative is aimed at addressing housing challenges faced by returning refugees and helping them establish stable living conditions.

The ministry added that the total number of residential plots distributed across Afghanistan has now reached 35,719, with efforts to support and permanently resettle returning refugees continuing nationwide.
