KABUL: The Deputy Special Representative of the United Nations Assistance Mission in Afghanistan, Indrika Ratwatte, in a meeting with the Deputy Prime Minister for Administrative Affairs Mawalvi Abdul Salam Hanafi said that the international community’s humanitarian assistance continues to Afghanistan, Arg said in a statement.
In the meeting, the deputy representative of the United Nations Assistance Mission in Afghanistan (UNAMA) appreciated the Islamic Emirate’s efforts and cooperation in distributing humanitarian aid to earthquake-affected families of Herat and Afghan returnees, as well as the overall security, counter-narcotics, and anti-corruption measures in the country.
“Forced deportation of Afghan migrants from neighboring countries is contrary to international migration laws,” said Ratwatte.
According to the statement, Mawlavi Abdul Salam Hanafi praised the international community’s humanitarian assistance to the people of Afghanistan.
He assured the Islamic Emirate’s cooperation with humanitarian organizations in the distribution of aid to the people of Afghanistan.
