IEA called Zionist regime’s attack on Iranian consulate in Damascus violation of diplomatic norms

KABUL: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in a statement on Tuesday considered the attack by the Zionist regime on the consular branch of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Damascus, the capital of Syria, a blatant violation of diplomatic norms and attempt at provoking wider regional insecurity, and condemns it in the strongest possible terms.

“The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan calls on the influential countries of the world and the region to prevent the crimes of the Zionist regime in Gaza and beyond the Gaza Strip,” spokesman of the Ministry Abdul Qahar Balkhi said.

On the one hand, the continuation of crimes by the Zionist regime poses a serious threat to regional and world security, and on the other hand, it raises serious questions about the effectiveness of international laws and institutions.
