KABUL: The acting ambassador of the Afghan embassy in Cairo, Abdul Muqeem Qarar, attended a ceremony held to mark the National Day of Russia.
According to the Afghan embassy, Qarar congratulated Yury Matveyev on the occasion and highlighted the existing positive relations between Afghanistan and Russia, expressing hope for further expansion of bilateral ties.
On the sidelines of the event, the Afghan envoy also met with a representative of Egypt’s Dar al-Ifta and several ambassadors and diplomats, discussing ways to strengthen mutual relations and enhance cooperation.
