KABUL: The conflict, which Benjamin Netanyahu viewed as an important part of strengthening his political legacy, may end in a way that could negatively affect his political future, media reported.
According to The New York Times, the emerging framework agreement aimed at ending hostilities between the United States and Iran does not include some of Israel’s key demands.
Reports indicate that issues such as Iran’s missile program and Tehran’s ties with allied groups across the region have been left outside the main negotiating agenda.
Sources add that Israeli officials are concerned that the arrangement may not fully guarantee Israel’s strategic objectives regarding Iran.
Meanwhile, criticism of Netanyahu’s policies has intensified within Israel, and some analysts believe that the outcome of the conflict could fall short of his expectations and potentially weaken his political standing.
