KABUL: The World Bank and the United Nations have said in a joint report that the cost of damage to critical infrastructure in Zionist Israel’s continuing war on Gaza is estimated at about $18.5 billion
According to the report, 26 million tons of debris and rubble have been left in the wake of the destruction, an amount that is estimated to take years to remove.
According to the report, 72 percent of these attacks were caused damage to residential units and 19 percent to public and government buildings (schools, hospitals and water supply reservoirs) and others.
One million people in Gaza have no shelter and 75 percent of the people of this city are homeless, said the report.
Assessments show that half of the people of Gaza are facing hunger and famine and all of them suffer from food insecurity and malnutrition.
The latest figures show that more than 32,000 people have been martyred and more than 70,000 have been injured in the Zionist attacks.
