Salt Sellers Union committed to paying their debts

KABUL: In a meeting with the Acting Minister of Mines and Petroleum Shaikh Shahabuddin Delawar, today, the Salt Sellers Union members said that they are committed to paying their debts as soon as possible, the ministry said in a statement.

In the meeting, both sides discussed the construction of a standard salt factory in the country, debt settlement, and the construction of roads and supporting walls for sedimentary salt in Andkhoi.

The acting Minister of Mines and Petroleum also heard the problems faced by members of the Union and assured that their problems would be addressed.

It is mentionable, that after the establishment of the Islamic Emirate, efforts towards standardizing the extraction of various minerals in the country are seriously underway.
