KABUL: Afghanistan’s Ambassador to Qatar, Mohammad Suhail Shaheen, and the embassy’s military attaché, Hafiz Ihsanullah Anas, attended the official funeral ceremony of former Qatari Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani.
The Afghan Embassy in Qatar said in a statement posted on X on Monday that its representatives conveyed, on behalf of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, deep condolences and sympathy to the Qatari government and people during the ceremony.
The funeral was attended by ambassadors from various countries, senior government and diplomatic officials, prominent figures, religious scholars, representatives of international and local organizations, and international media representatives, who expressed their condolences to Qatar.
