KABUL: The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) has announced that Switzerland has contributed $2.4 million to support humanitarian efforts in Afghanistan.
According to UNHCR, the funding will be used to assist returning Afghan refugees and support ongoing humanitarian programs across the country.
The agency said the contribution is intended to help address the needs of vulnerable returnees and strengthen humanitarian assistance in Afghanistan.
