KABUL: The European Union Delegation to Afghanistan has expressed its condolences over the loss of life caused by the deadly floods in Nuristan province, extending its sympathy to the families of the victims and those affected by the disaster.
In a statement, the EU delegation said it stands in solidarity with flood-affected families and is ready to support relief efforts for those impacted. It also expressed hope that those reported missing would be found as soon as possible.
Earlier, the Embassies of Iran and Japan in Afghanistan also issued messages of condolence, expressing sympathy with the families of those who lost loved ones in the devastating floods in Nuristan.
