Afghan delegation visits Uzbek energy facilities to strengthen power infrastructure

KABUL: A high-level delegation from Da Afghanistan Breshna Sherkat (DABS), led by Chief Executive Officer Mawlavi Abdul Haq Hamkar, has visited several leading electrical equipment manufacturers and industrial facilities in Uzbekistan as part of an official visit.

According to DABS, the purpose of the visit was to study Uzbekistan’s power equipment production facilities and smart electricity systems in order to support the modernization of Afghanistan’s power sector and expand technical cooperation between the two countries.

The delegation was introduced to advanced technologies and practices in power transmission, electricity distribution, smart grid management, and energy loss reduction, the statement said.

DABS added that the knowledge and experience gained during the visit will be used to strengthen Afghanistan’s electricity infrastructure, improve the quality of electrical equipment, and expand the use of smart power systems across the country.
