KABUL: Kabul police forces from the city’s Eighth Police District have arrested a 16-member gang accused of carrying out a series of residential burglaries across the Afghan capital.
According to a statement from the Kabul Police Command, the suspects allegedly killed two people and wounded another while robbing a house in the Bini Hisar area of the Eighth Police District.
Police said the suspects were arrested in a swift operation by intelligence and security forces and two vehicles and five handguns were recovered from them.
The police added that the suspects have confessed to the crimes, according to the statement.
