Afghanistan, Uzbekistan and China hold joint business meeting in Termez

KABUL: A joint business meeting between Afghanistan, Uzbekistan and China has begun in the Uzbek city of Termez, focusing on expanding trade relations, increasing investment and strengthening economic cooperation among the three countries.

The meeting was attended by Afghanistan’s Industry and Commerce Minister Nooruddin Azizi, General Director of State-Owned Corporations Mawlavi Ahmad Jan Bilal, Balkh Governor Mullah Mohammad Yusuf Wafa, Afghanistan’s ambassador to Tashkent Shaikh Abdul Ghafar Bahr, along with Afghan, Uzbek and Chinese businessmen and officials.

According to Ataullah Haji Zaid, spokesman for the Balkh governor, participants will discuss joint trade and investment opportunities and ways to expand economic cooperation among Afghanistan, Uzbekistan and China.
