KABUL: Khan Mohammad Forotan, head of the Afghanistan Chamber of Agriculture and Livestock Production, says more than 70 contracts worth over $200 million were signed during the six-day International Agriculture and Livestock Exhibition in Kabul.
According to Radio Omid, speaking at the closing ceremony, Forotan said the exhibition provided an important opportunity to exchange experiences and showcase the potential of Afghanistan’s agriculture and livestock sectors.
According to him, more than 100 companies and exhibitors participated in the event, while the signed contracts could contribute to increasing agricultural and livestock production, expanding trade, and attracting investment in these sectors.
Forotan added that holding such exhibitions can further facilitate the marketing of domestic products, investment attraction and expansion of trade in agricultural and livestock products.
