KABUL: A man and four of his young children have died after a boat capsized in the waters of Dahla Dam in Kandahar province.
Health sources told Omid Radio that the man, identified as Noor Ahmad, who owned a shop in the Charsoo market in Kandahar city, had gone to Dahla Dam with his five children for recreation.
According to sources, Noor Ahmad and his children were traveling by boat on the dam when the boat overturned.
One other person is reportedly believed to have been rescued alive from the incident.
