KABUL: Afghanistan’s national boxing team left Kabul for Japan on Tuesday, to participate in the 20th Asian Games.
The country’s sports authority said the three-member boxing delegation comprises one athlete, a coach and one official.
More than 30 Afghan athletes are expected to compete in various sports at the 20th Asian Games in Japan, the authority said.
The 20th Asian Games, hosted by Japan, are scheduled to begin on September 19.
