KABUL: Following continued uncertainty of the fate of Israeli hostages held by the Hamas Resistance Movement, thousands of Israeli citizens on Saturday, protested against the government of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, demanding early elections in Israel.
The protesters called for an end to Netanyahu’s work period as Prime Minister and emphasized that efforts should be intensified to secure the return of 133 captives held by Hamas.
The protests reflect the disappointment of Israeli citizens with the performance of Netanyahu’s government.
While the occupation regime of Israel’s aggression against the Gaza Strip has entered its seventh month, the fate of the 133 individuals held captive by Hamas remains unclear.
Assessments indicate that Israeli citizens hold Netanyahu responsible for the security gaps that led to the October 7th incident last year.
