Afghanistan-Uzbekistan trade surpasses $2 billion in first eight months of 2026

KABUL: Officials from the Uzbekistan Exporters Association in Balkh say trade between Afghanistan and Uzbekistan exceeded $2 billion in the first eight months of 2026.

According to the officials, bilateral trade was worth around $800 million in 2024 before rising to $1.85 billion in 2025.

They added that trade between the two countries has continued to grow this year, with the total value of bilateral trade surpassing $2 billion during the first eight months of 2026.
