KABUL: The United Nations Assistance Mission in Afghanistan (UNAMA) has confirmed that three civilians, including a woman and a girl, were martyred and four others injured in airstrikes in Nurgul district, Kunar province, and Barmal district of Paktika province on September 21.
The UN mission again called on all parties to respect international humanitarian law and take measures to prevent civilian casualties.
Afghan officials have said Pakistan’s military again violated Afghanistan’s airspace and carried out airstrikes on residential areas inside the country.
