KABUL: Mullah Abdul Wasi, Director General of the Office of the Administrative Affairs of the Prime Minister’s Office of the Islamic Emirate, discussed investment and economic growth opportunities, as well as humanitarian assistance, with Yun Suk-hoon, head of the Asian Economic Growth Committee (AEGC), via video conference.
According to a statement from the Arg, Abdul Wasi invited the committee chairman to visit Afghanistan and said the necessary facilities have now been provided for both domestic and foreign investors in the country.
He also said the Islamic Emirate welcomes assistance from various countries and organizations, adding that Afghanistan seeks to engage with countries and international institutions in accordance with its principles and traditions.
Meanwhile, Yun Suk-hoon expressed his desire to visit Afghanistan and said the Asian Economic Growth Committee would invest in the solar power sector in the country.
He also assured the Afghan people of the committee’s comprehensive support.
