KABUL: The Ministry of Transport and Civil Aviation says 53,270 passenger and cargo vehicles across the country have so far been equipped with GPS tracking devices.
According to the ministry, 23 private companies are currently involved in installing and activating the devices.
Officials said the measure aims to improve monitoring of vehicles and enhance safety in the transport sector.
