KABUL: The Russian especial envoy for Afghanistan Affairs, Zamir Kabulov, in a meeting on Tuesday, here in kabul, with the Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs Mawlavi Amir Khan Muttaqi, said that any meeting held at the international level regarding Afghanistan should also take into account the decision of the current Afghan government.
Russia’s Special envoy said that it is important that in the coming Doha meeting the United Nations should have the Islamic Emirate’s agreement.
“The United States must unfreeze Afghanistan’s assets,” he said.
Appreciating Russia’s support in international forums for Afghanistan, Mawlavi Amir Khan Muttaqi said that Afghanistan’s relations with regional countries developing and called the country’s relation very important with Rissia.
It is worth mentioning that the Islamic Emirate did not participate in the previous United Nations meeting on Afghanistan held in Doha, Qatar.
