Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and Turkey agree to rapid military deployment in Saudi Arabia

KABUL: Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and Turkey have agreed on the rapid deployment of military forces and capabilities in Saudi Arabia, Pakistan’s Foreign Ministry said.
According to the ministry, the agreement was reached during an emergency meeting of the “Makkah Joint Defence Agreement” in Riyadh.
The three countries will take the necessary measures to fulfill their joint defence commitments and provide the military personnel and equipment required under the agreement.
Pakistan’s Defence Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif said Pakistani and Turkish forces are currently playing a supporting role in the defence cooperation.
