KABUL: A delegation from Afghanistan’s Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, led by Deputy Minister for Finance and Administration Hafiz Mohammad Amin Jan Omari, has traveled to Moscow to participate in the Second International Digital Forum.
According to a ministry statement, the Afghan delegation will present Afghanistan’s experiences and achievements in the communications and information technology sector, as well as measures taken to advance digital transformation.
The ministry said the international forum will discuss the development of digital technologies, digital governance, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, digital infrastructure, and technological cooperation among countries.
Representatives of government institutions from various countries, international organizations, information technology specialists, and the private sector are expected to attend the forum.
