KABUL: The Minister of Public Works, Mullah Mohammad Esa Sani, visited Khost and Paktia provinces with a technical team to assess the progress of several projects and speed up construction.
Mohammad Ashraf Haqshinas, spokesperson for the Ministry of Public Works, said in a statement that the Minister inspected the Paktia–Khost route, the Zazi Aryub road, and the Paktia–Logar route through Azra district of Paktia province, including the Seto Kando area in Khost.
According to the statement, Minister Sani guided project implementation teams and contracting company officials on speeding up construction and ensuring compliance with quality standards.
Haqshenas added that the minister regularly reviews ongoing projects across the country to strengthen transport infrastructure, improve road quality, and ensure safer and more convenient travel for citizens.
