KABUL: Afghanistan’s national futsal team played to a goalless draw against Japan in its opening match of the six-team international tournament in Brazil.
The match, held in the host country, ended 0-0.
The tournament features the national teams of Afghanistan, Indonesia, Peru, Japan, Cape Verde and Brazil.
Afghanistan are scheduled to face Peru in their second match of the tournament.
