KABUL: In a meeting with the acting Minister of Water and Energy Mullah Abdul Latif Mansour, the CEO of “Yellow River-Power China” company has expressed interest in investing in the Bagh Dara hydroelectric dam, the Ministry said in a statement.
In the meeting, the two sides discussed the details of the construction of the hydroelectric dam, according to the statement.
The Acting Minister of Water and Energy stressed the importance of the Bagh Dara dam project and called for expediting the preliminary investment procedures of the dam.
He assured his led ministry’s cooperation with the contracting company.
The Bagh Dara hydroelectric dam is located in Kapisa province.
