KABUL: U.S. President Donald Trump says the United States does not need assistance from any other country to defeat Iran.
Speaking at a press conference at the White House on Tuesday evening, Trump claimed that the U.S. position against Iran was “very good” and said the remaining decision was how to achieve victory.
Referring to rising fuel prices, Trump said preventing Iran from obtaining a nuclear weapon was worth paying such a price.
He also said he had contacted the leaders of several countries seeking cooperation, but received negative responses.
