KABUL: The Supreme Leader of the Islamic Emirate has emphasized religious commitment, Islamic ethics, military discipline, and the protection of public assets during a meeting with members of the 205th Al-Badr Army Corps.
Islamic Emirate Deputy Spokesperson Hamdullah Fitrat said the leadership addressed the soldiers yesterday afternoon, stressing the importance of prayer and encouraging them to deepen their knowledge of Islam beyond learning the pillars and conditions of prayer.
The leadership also urged soldiers to uphold Islamic ethics and manners, learn Quranic recitation, Tajweed, and meaning, continue their education, and respect mosques.
It further instructed military personnel to safeguard government vehicles and weapons, avoid ethnic prejudice and favoritism, maintain unity among themselves, and prioritize the interests of the state over personal interests.
