KABUL: Ahmad Shakir Rasouli, head of aviation inspections, has represented Afghanistan’s Ministry of Transport and Aviation at the 2026 Aviation Security Week of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) in Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan.
According to Afghanistan’s Ministry of Transport and Aviation, the meeting focuses on aviation security, expanding international cooperation, exchanging experiences, and implementing international security standards.
The ministry said Afghanistan’s participation demonstrates its commitment to strengthening aviation security oversight, expanding cooperation with international organizations, and implementing international standards in the sector.
