More than 600 kilograms of drugs destroyed in Panjshir

KABUL: The country’s Ministry of Interior Affairs said in a statement that more than 600 kilograms of narcotics seized from various areas of Panjshir province have been set on fire.

According to the statement, the counter-narcotics personnel of the Panjshir Police Command collected a total of 607 kilograms of different types of narcotics, which were subsequently burned in the presence of local officials.

The ministry said the elimination comes as the Islamic Emirate has strictly prohibited the purchase and sale of narcotics across Afghanistan since returning to power.
