KABUL: As the protests of students and professors at American universities against Israel’s war in the Gaza Strip continue, the police have so far arrested more than 20 students from Indiana University and over 100 other students from Northeastern University in Boston, USA, international media reported yesterday.
The students were arrested after ignoring police warnings to end the protests and remove their sit-in tents from the university campus.
Since last week, widespread demonstrations by the academic community in America, including university professors and students, continue against the nonstop attacks of the Zionist regime on the Gaza Strip.
International media reports indicate that these protests have been heavily suppressed by the US police, and hundreds of protesters have been arrested by the police.
