KABUL: Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has said that two oil tankers exploded after striking sea mines in the Strait of Hormuz.
Reuters, citing the IRGC, reported that the tankers were travelling through shipping lanes in the strait that Iran had prohibited vessels from using.
According to the IRGC, the incident occurred after the tankers entered routes designated as off-limits by Iran.
