KABUL: The Acting Minister of Hajj and Islamic Affairs of the Islamic Emirate Shaikh Noor Mohammad Saqib, on the sideline of the consultation meeting of the Islamic Word scholars in Istanbul, met with Turkey’s President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, the IEA spokesman Mawlavi Zabihullah Mujahid said in a statement on his X handle today.
In the meeting, Erdogan expressed pleasure over Afghanistan’s sure security, said Mujahid.
Shaikh Saqib thanking Turkey for organizing the meeting, said: “Afghanistan wants good and advanced relations with the brother country of Turkey and expected you to play an important role in addressing the challenges facing Islamic Ummah.”
A few days ago, leading a high-ranking delegation the Acting Minister of Hajj and Islamic Affairs left the country for Turkey to participate in the consultation meeting of the Islamic Word scholars, in Istanbul.
