HERAT: At least 4 people were martyred and 14 others were wounded in a traffic accident in Herat province, provincial officials confirmed.
The accident happened when a Coaster-type van hit a motorcycle on the outskirts of Karookh district of Herat province, resulting in the death of 4 people and 14 four others.
Dr. Ahmad Fahim Afzali, head of the emergency department of Herat Regional Hospital said that 4 people were killed and 14 others were wounded.
It has been said that two of the dead were passengers of the motorcycle.
The main causes behind traffic accidents are the recklessness of the drivers, fast driving, and narrow roads.
